49 year old Shannon Lori Collins is charged with second-degree murder, tampering with a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident. Collins allegedly got into an argument with 55-year-old Mark Ault, Collins attempted to leave and Ault was trying to stop her. Ault was standing on the running board of the truck Collins was driving when she accelerated then slammed on the brakes, throwing Ault over the hood of the truck, with him landing on his head and suffering massive head trauma. Ault died the next day at a Springfield Hospital. Collins is being held in Ozark County without bond.
