A woman from Houston Missouri was killed and a man was injured in an accident west of Willow Springs Wednesday morning. The Highway Patrol reports that 63-year-old Wanda Franklin was killed and 67-year-old Leslie Franklin suffered minor injuries when Leslie Franklin drove off the road and hit an embankment and a tree. The accident happened on U.S. 60, five miles west of Willow Springs.
