Mansfield Man Gets 13 Years In Prison For Child Pornography

A Wright County man was sentenced to 13 years in federal prison Tuesday on child pornography charges. 49 year old Clinton Campbell on Mansfield is accused or placing the faces of children he knew onto pornographic images. He plead guilty to receiving and distributing child pornography. The Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force reportedly downloaded child pornography from Campbell’s computer via a peer-to-peer file sharing network in 2017. Authorities found over 1400 images and 40 videos of suspected child pornography. They say some of the images were digitally altered by Campbell to include  faces of children he knew, and that Campbell inserted his face over the perpetrator’s face in others. Investigators also say that he took pictures of children as they walked or played in front of his house. Campbell was sentenced to 13 years in prison without parole, as well as supervised release following his time in prison.
