Friday morning, 39-year-old Shane Chadwell of Norwood was injured when he swerved to avoid a vehicle having a mechanical problem, traveled off the roadway, and overturned the pickup he was driving. Chadwell suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway Y, one mile north of Macomb.
Friday afternoon, 49-year-old Christopher Isaacs of Hartville suffered moderate injuries when the vehicle he was driving met a box truck on a blind curve and was hit. Isaacs was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon. The accident happened on Indian Grove Road, one mile north of Hartville.
Friday afternoon, 46-year-old Younely Crawford of Paragould Arkansas, suffered moderate injuries when a Cam Am Spider, driven by 52-year-old Karal Kemmet attempted to make a turn and hit the rear of the Harley Davidson that Crawford was driving, Crawford traveled off the road and ejected from the motorcycle. The accident happened on Highway H, at the Highway 95 intersection in Manes.
Friday evening a man from Mississippi was injured in an accident South of Myrtle. The Highway Patrol says that 23-year-old David Thrasher suffered moderate injuries when the mirror of the tractor-trailer he was driving hit the mirror of another vehicle, causing his windshield to break. Thrasher was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Highway BB, three miles south of Myrtle.
