44-year-old Jennifer Medina is charged with first-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest for a felony, and two counts each of armed criminal action, child abuse or neglect, and first-degree child endangerment. The victim told authorities that Medina had slapped her face, hands, and arms multiple times, and also struck her with a Chromebook, broke a glass plate over her, and then caused the cuts on her arm by hitting her with the broken plate before pouring ramen noodle liquid over her. Medina was arrested and was released on $50,000 bond the next day. She pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday and will be in court on September 2-th.
