The West Plains City Council also unanimously approved the hire of Todd Harman of Prairie Village, Kansas as the new Director of Finance during a special closed session meeting.  Harman, a Certified Public Accountant, began his professional career as a financial analyst at Ozarks Medical Center in 2006.  From there, he has spent over a decade in various senior auditor and audit manager roles auditing governmental entities, not-for-profit entities, publicly-held financial services companies, mutual funds, and a privately-held life insurance company.  He is currently employed as an Assurance Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) of Kansas City, Missouri.  Harman has over 12 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, and auditing, making him an ideal fit to oversee all the financial aspects of the City of West Plains.
