Authorities in Randolph County Arkansas report a juvenile in Central Missouri has been arrested for threats at the Maynard School. Maynard School was closed on Wednesday after a threat was posted on social media Tuesday saying that land mines were on the campus. In a news release posted Tuesday night, Superintendent Dr. Amy Jackson said law enforcement officers were “actively investigating the threat and conducting a complete and thorough sweep of all of the facilities.” Around noon Wednesday, she reported the campus was safe and nothing had been found. The name of the suspect accused of making the treats has not been released.
