The identity of the body found in the Black River in Pocahontas last month has been released. Authorities say it is Asma Amram of Springdale Arkansas. On August 22, Amram’s body was found floating in the River. He was sent to the Arkansas crime lab for an autopsy. Amram had recently moved to Pocahontas. The Sheriff’s Office reports that surveillance footage showed Amram walking to the river bank with fishing equipment two days before he was found.
