Gassville man arrested after stealing and damaging a Gator

Cotter Police arrest a Gassville man after he allegedly stolen a vehicle and damaged it.

On September 5th the Cotter Police responded to a call about a theft of a 2019 John Deer Gator. When they arrived at the victim’s home he claimed that he noticed the John Deere Gator was missing around 5 in the afternoon to which he later drove around looking for it to find it at 61-year-old Danny Haley’s home in his backyard behind his shed. Upon further inspection by the victim he seen there was noticeable damage done to both door and roof to the John Deere Gator which estimated to a hefty bill of $1,568.75 .

Haley was arrested and sent to the Baxter County Detention Center where he is currently on a $10,000 dollar bond and is facing a felony count of theft of property and second degree criminal mischief.
