A Paragould man is being held on a $25,000 bond after he allegedly abused a baby multiple times. Joshua Collins, of Paragould, was charged with first-degree domestic battering and child endangerment after Greene County District Court Judge Daniel Stidham found probable cause.
On September 9, Paragould police responded to a call regarding an unresponsive infant. According to court documents, the officers stabilized the child and soon rushed them to a local hospital. The infant was later transferred to a larger hospital after it was discovered that the injuries were more severe. Medical documents indicated that the injuries were consistent with repeated abuse.
Collins was arrested on Wednesday and currently remains in the Greene County Detention Center, awaiting his court appearance.
