The Highway Patrol says that 71-year-old Dan Petrie suffered serious injuries when a deer traveled into the path of his motorcycle causing him to wreck the motorcycle. Petrie was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon. The accident happened on Highway 5, a half mile north of Grovespring.
