Saturday, three people were injured in an accident south of West Plains. The Highway Patrol reports that 65-year-old Tonya Graves of Thayer suffered serious injuries, 61-year-old Dianna Webster of Thayer suffered moderate injuries, and 36-year-old Alisha Castor of Salem Arkansas suffered moderate injuries when Webster failed to stop at a stop sign and crossed into the path of the vehicle that Castor was driving. All three of the injured were taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. The accident happened on Highway 17, seven miles south of West Plains.
A Mountain Grove man was injured in an ATV accident north of Mountain Grove on Saturday. The Highway Patrol says that 20-year-old Robert Milford suffered serious injuries when he traveled down an embankment and overturned the ATV. Milford was taken to Cox South in Springfield. the accident happened on private property on Thornhill Drive, 10 miles north of Mountain Grove.
A man from Texas was injured in a motorcycle accident in Shannon County yesterday. 74-year-old Roger Jones suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and hit a tree. The accident happened on Highway A, eight miles west of Bunker.
Two people were injured in an accident north of Mansfield on Friday. The Highway Patrol reports that 61-year-old Debra Whedbee of Ava and 41-year-old Jennifer Sims of Springfield both suffered minor injuries when the car they were in was hit in the rear by a Semi driven by 32-year-old Cody Lynn of Middleburg Kentucky. The accident happened on U.S. 60, West of Missouri 5 in Mansfield.
