
Josh Daniel Jackson entered a negotiated plea of guilty to forgery, fraudulent use of a credit/debit card, and theft of property of more than $25,000. Jackson was sentenced to 72 months probation and ordered to pay restitution of $31,112. Jackson was the superintendent and officer manager at MRID, which oversees the city’s golf course, swimming pool, lakes, and other properties. He allegedly took several cash advances on the MRID credit card and took checks payable to his business. According to the affidavit, Jackson claimed two of the commissioners permitted him to sign the checks.
