A Paragould man threatens hospital staff

A Paragould man was arrested for threatening hospital staff and urinating on hospital equipment. On Tuesday, October 22, Paragould resident Tony Patton was arrested for terroristic threatening and public intoxication.

According to court documents, officers responded to a call from the local hospital stating that they were having trouble with a drunk individual. When police arrived, they were informed that Patton had gone to the hospital to pick up a woman.

Officers were notified that Patton was acting extremely impaired, going through drawers and hospital equipment, and attempted to urinate in a cup. Patton also told one of the staff members that he had killed 31 people and that they were next.

After speaking with Patton, the police took him into custody for both public intoxication and threatening of staff.
