68-year-old Robert Phillip Mathis of Corinth Mississippi was the only person on board the plane that crashed around 2 pm on Tuesday. Mathis died in the crash. FAA reported that was when Mathis made a distress call. Authorities say that it took more than four hours to get to the site of the crash and a team had to go down a cliff to reach the plane. The FAA will investigate.
