The Thayer-Mammoth Spring Rotary met Wednesday and the guest speaker was Wesley Hubach, the president of the board for the Thayer Fun and Friends Senior Center. He talked about the Fun and Friends got started
He also told the Rotary about their original mission and their goals
Hubach talked about where they get their funding
Last year the Fun and Friends served more than 45,000 meals.
Also during the meeting, Rotary Assistant District Governor Jim Thompson of West Plains presented past President Larry Forschler with a certificate for his service as President.
He also presented a Banner to New President Devon Smoot for his 100 percent commitment to giving 100 dollars to The Rotary International Foundation.
