45-year-old Virgil Thomas Horton was arrested after he allegedly threatened to kill the woman, shot at her house multiple times, broke into the house, and rammed a truck with his truck. The incident happened last Thursday on Wildcat Shoals Road. Horton is facing charges of residential burglary, committing a terroristic act by shooting and causing property damage, first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree domestic battery, and public intoxication. He is being held on bonds totaling $25,000.
