A West Plains man who was already facing several charges and awaiting trial, has now been charged in connection with the beating of man with a pipe. 19 year old Jesse Dee Dalton is charged with 1st degree assault serious injury and armed criminal action. The victim was airlifted to a Springfield hospital. Dalton was already awaiting trial on several charges including, first degree statutory rape or attempted statutory rape, second degree child molestation and third degree assault. He had been released from jail in September on $100,000 bond.
