A man from West Plains was sentenced in regard to the death of his Daughter. In 2023 Levi Coffel pleaded guilty to charges in relation to the death of his six-month-old daughter. Coffel confessed that he was consuming intoxicants while taking care of his four children. Coffel put the infant in a bath seat in the bathtub but forgot to unplug the drain. He claims he went to get the diaper bag and was gone for a few minutes. He later returned and tried to perform CPR while he called for help.
