Woman From Pomona Was Charged With Falsifying Food Stamp Application

A woman from Pomona has been charged with 2 felony counts of fraud after allegedly falsifying information on a food stamp application. 35 year old Ashley Detwiler is charged with 1 count of unlawfully receiving public assistance benefits/EBT card valued at $500 or more and unlawfully receiving public assistance benefits/EBT card valued at $750 or more.  Authorities say she received almost $20,000 in benefits over 4 years from July 2014 to August 2018.
