
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs and former first-round pick running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire have parted ways.
Edwards-Helaire, a 25-year-old running back in his fifth season in the National Football League, announced that he’s leaving the organization on Monday afternoon.
The former LSU star was drafted with the 32nd overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Chiefs after a standout college season helped the Tigers win the national championship.
