The Highland School District was made aware of a threat made on one of the schools on the evening of December 16. The School posted on their Facebook that a threat had been made and that whether they are made in person or online they are taken very seriously and always investigated. The school SRO was immediately notified. The SRO did an investigation and located the suspect. He also confirmed there was a threat made. This is the second threat this month with the other threat being made on December 8. The school district is following proper procedures and laws according to the state of Arkansas. The reason for the threats has not been released.
