Zizzer swimmers advance to the Class I State Championship Meet in St. Peters, Missouri November 9-10. The West Plains High School 400-yard Freestyle Relay team of Nate Bramwell, Andrew Brain, Dakota Sparks, and Kyle Jolliff qualified for the meet with a time of 3:41.77. The fastest 32 teams in the state earn a spot in the meet and this is the first time since the swim program’s founding in 2014 that a relay team has qualified. In individual events, Bramwell also qualified in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.60. Championship preliminary races begin at 5p.m. on Friday, November 9 and finals are Saturday at 3:00pm. The bus departs for St. Peters from the high school at 6:15p.m. Thursday, November 8 and the community is encouraged to rally in the high school parking lot beginning at 5:45p.m. to see the team off.
