This year’s Hunger Hero Campaign wrapped up on Christmas Eve and was another huge success with more than 8,000 items collected for the food pantries in Thayer, Alton, and Mammoth Spring. More than 1500 items were collected at our sponsoring businesses and more than 6,600 items were collected at the local schools. The Thayer School won the traveling trophy for collecting the most items at 2,846, Mammoth Spring collected 2,188, Couch collected 802, Koshkonong 408, and Alton 361. Classes at each school were competing to collect the most items with the winning class getting a pizza party from Thayer Pizza Inn. This year’s winners were
