Two Independence County residents have been arrested for the theft of over $5,000 and a firearm from a residence. 18 year old Chelsea Bailey Yocum and 47 year old Kathy Kiefer were both arrested and authorities say that Kiefer was the ex-wife of the victim and knew the combination to the safe. Both are charged with two felony counts of theft and one felony count of breaking and entering. Bond was set at $7,000 each.
