Tuesday morning Matt Roberts was sworn in as the new Howell County Sheriff by 37th Circuit Judge Steven Privette, at the Howell County Courthouse.
After Sheriff Roberts was sworn in, all Howell County Sheriff’s Office Commissioned Staff members and other agency Commissioned Officers who work with the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, were sworn in under the new Sheriff.
Sheriff Matt Roberts is the 33rd Sheriff of Howell County and officially took command of the Sheriff’s Office on January 01, 2025.
