The West Plains Lady Zizzers defeated Sedalia Smith-Cotton 77 to 47 Monday night in the first round of the Lady Liberator Tournament at Bolivar High School. Jillian Green led four players in double figures with 17, Shaylee Peterson had 16, Ainsley McWilliams had 14 and Zoe Shrubb had 12. The Lady Zizzers hit 12 three-pointers in the game. Lady Zizzers are now 9 and 6 on the season.
The Mammoth Spring Bears and Lady Bears both suffer losses last night at home against Marshall. The Lady Bears lost 53-40 and the Bears lost 60-48. The Bears and Lady Bears continue conference play tonight at Cedar Ridge
