On January 23, 2025, at approximately 9:10 AM, the West Plains Police Department Special Response Team executed a narcotics-related search warrant at the residence on Joe Jones Boulevard, West Plains, Missouri. Thomas Flanagan was found at the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Flanagan had multiple active arrest warrants including a felony warrant out of Howell County for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Probation Violation warrant out of the Probation and Parole Office, and multiple warrants out of the City of West Plains. During the search, officers discovered suspected Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia associated with the use of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl inside the residence. Flanagan is currently being held on active warrants. A probable cause statement for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia will be submitted to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.
