On Thursday, the Shannon County Sheriff’s Department executed a high-risk search warrant in the Birch Tree area. During the operation, illicit drugs were seized and taken into evidence. No individuals were present in the residence during the operation. 21-year-old Dale Crane was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and attempting to escape custody. Crane is currently on Probation & Parole for stealing a motor vehicle. During the investigation, another suspect fled on foot. The name of this individual will not be disclosed to protect the integrity of the case. The SCSO anticipates additional arrest warrants to be issued as a result of this operation. Crane is being held on $50,000 bond.
