High School Basketball
The Thayer Bobcats dropped a tough one Friday night in the semi-finals of the Bolivar tournament. Thayer got off to a slow start and trailed top-seeded Republic 17-11 at the quarter break. Bobcats trailed by 11 late in the half but pulled within 7 at the half. Thayer rallied in the second half to tie the game at 31 but fell to the Tigers 56-44. Devon Harrington led the Bobcats with 16 points. Thayer will play Metro Academy for 3rd place this afternoon. You can hear it on Kkountry 95.
The West Plains Zizzer boys will play Mountain Grove today at 5:30 pm for Third Place in the Mountain Grove Tournament.
