The West Plains Lady Zizzers “JV” picked up a big win Saturday at Columbia Hickman winning 72 to 66 in 2OT’s. Sophmore Dalani Wahome scored 40 points while Jewellia Willard added 20.
The varsity Lady Zizzers won 66 to 53 over Hickman with Shaylee Peterson scoring 24, Ainsley McWilliams 17 and Jillian Green had 10. Lady Zizzers are now 14 and 8 on the season.

With the anticipation of the winter weather, we have made adjustments to our basketball schedule with Marshfield. Both boys and girls games will be played on Monday, Feb. 17 at WPHS. There will be no games on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

The 2A-2 District Tournament began Saturday at Tuckerman. The mammoth Spring Bears got an opening round win beating Cotter 55-45 to advance to the Quarterfinals today the Bears play the host Tuckerman tonight at 8 pm. The Mammoth Spring Lady Bears will play in the opening round today at 4 pm against Marshall. Both the Boy’s and Girl’s games will be on K-Kountry 95, Hayden Savage will have the call.
