Tuesday morning the Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic call. 38-year-old Douglas Zuel was arrested and put in a Patrol Vehicle. Zuel then escaped through the divider and fled on foot. Authorities say that Zuel has an active Sharp County Warrant for theft of property and fleeing. He also faces charges from Tuesday’s incident.

A man from Ellington is being held in Carter County jail on Drug Charges, the MSHP arrested 46-year-old Damien Traykovich on charges of possession of a controlled substance, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and no turn signal. He was placed on a 24-hour hold.
