
Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol has been busy reporting three injury accidents on Monday with six people suffering injuries.
The first accident happened on Highway 17, five miles south of West Plains. The MSHP says that a 77-year-old woman from West Plains suffered serious injuries and a 42-year-old woman from Willow Springs suffered minor injuries when a man from Willow Springs attempted to pass a vehicle driven by a 54-year-old woman from West Plains and hit the vehicle driven by the 77-year-old West Plains woman head-on. Both of the injured were taken to Ozarks Healthcare.
The second accident happened around 12:30 Monday afternoon on Highway 95 south of Gentryville. The Patrol reports that a 41-year-old man from Ava suffered moderate injuries and a 66-year-old man and a 21-year-old man from Ava both suffered minor injuries when the 66-year-old drove off the road and hit an embankment and then a tree.
The third accident happened last night around 10:30 on U.S. 60 three miles south of West Plains. The Patrol says that an 18-year-old girl from Brandsville suffered minor injuries when she swerved to miss a deer. She was taken to Ozarks Healthcare.
