Thayer City Council met last night for their February meeting. The council approved the consent agenda, including the minutes for the January meeting, the January court report for the month of January, which was $2,983, and the fire department minutes and expenses of $690. They also voted to pay their bills and approved the six-month financial report to be printed in the West Plains Quill and approved the purchase of new UV bulbs for the treatment plant. The council was asked about the controlled burn on the old Adams Western Store property. Stephen Clark gave us this explanation regarding DNR.
