Summersville man arrested for allegedly exposing himself in public

Friday night around 10:30, the Texas County Deputies were dispatched to a business in Summersville for a report of a male subject exposing himself. Upon arrival, witnesses reported that the suspect had urinated in the parking lot of the business exposing himself to several people. Deputies located the suspect inside a parked vehicle at a residence in the area. The suspect Joshua Bolin refused to unlock and exit the vehicle after being informed he was under arrest. Deputies forced entry into the vehicle and removed Bolin. Bolin continued to physically resist the arrest and used his fingers to gouge the eyes of a deputy. Bolin was eventually taken into custody and transported to jail. The deputy was treated and released from a local hospital.

Prosecuting Attorney Parke Stevens charged 34-year-old Joshua L. Bolin, of Summersville, with Assault 1st Degree Special Victim Law Enforcement, Resisting Arrest for a Felony, and Sexual Misconduct. Bolin is being held in the Texas County Jail pending a no-bond warrant.
