The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office has identified a person of interest in the recent storage unit and vehicle break-ins in the Midway area. We are attempting to locate property owners to return property.
On March 3, 2025, BXSO investigators recovered a large cache of tools, an electric weed eater, an electric pressure washer, specialized tabletop saws, and grinders. There were also other high-dollar items not listed previously. These items are in storage at the Sheriff’s Office. If you have storage units located in the Midway area, the Sheriff’s Office is asking you to check your unit. If it is broken into, call and make a report and attempt to make a detailed list of the items missing. It is believed that the items recovered were taken between 2-27-2025 and 3-3-2025.
