High School Basketball
The Thayer Bobcats were in Columbia Missouri on Wednesday for the State Class 3 Final Four and took on the KIPP K)C Legacy Gators. The Bobcats played hard and led at the halt 29-24, but the Gators had a big third quarter outscoring the Bobcats 21-5 and then held on the fourth quarter for a 56-49 win. The Bobcats were led by Easton Pitts with 22 points and 7 rebounds and Devin Harrington had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Thayer will play Woodland this morning at 10 for third place, listen to the game on K-Kountry 95 with Mike Crase
In Arkansas
In 2A the Izard County Lady Cougars will play Barton for the State Championship. The Lady Cougars are looking for their first state championship in program history. The game starts at noon.
In 3A the Melbourne Bearkatz will play Osceola for the State Championship. The game starts at 7:45 tonight.
