The Storms on Friday have caused a large number of power outages through both Arkansas and Missouri and as of 5 am this morning, (Monday, March 17, 2025) there are still thousands of people without power. Howell County in Missouri and Randolph and Sharp Counties in Arkansas are the hardest hit. Howell County reports that 3,162 are without power, Sharp County reports that 1,126 are still without power, in Randolph County 1,366 are still without power Other Counties affected in Oregon County with 686, Ripley County with 300, Ozark County with 135, Carter County with 309, Shannon County with 21, Fulton County with 559, Lawrence County with 50, Independence County with 82, Izard County with 2 and Baxter County with 3. Crews continue to work to restore power but according to reports the power outages may be a multi-day event for many.
