The Highway Patrol reports the 44-year-old man suffered serious injuries when he traveled off the road, struck a sign, and was ejected from the 2017 Canam Spyder he was riding. The man was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway 17, five miles north of Mountain View.
