The NWS says an EF-3 Tornado destroyed several homes in the Fremont area. This tornado had wind speeds of 165 MPH a path 500 yards wide and had a path 17 miles long ending northwest of Garwood. No injuries were reported.
The NWS says an EF-4 tornado touched down near Melbourne in Izard County with wind speeds of 170 MPH. this storm was 46 miles long and had a path width of 1,000 yards
The NWS service says the tornado in Stone County was an EF-3 that touched down near Fifty-Six.
The NWS says the tornado that hit near Gamaliel was an EF-1 with wind speeds of 100 MPH and was 4.8 miles long. The tornado that hit Bakersfield was rated an EF-3 by the NWS.
