An accident in Wright County Friday night closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 60. The Highway Patrol reports a truck hauling cattle overturned, killing several cows. The name of the driver has not been released.
The highway Patrol says one person was injured when their vehicle hit a cow in the roadway. A 57-year-old man from Springfield suffered moderate injuries when he hit a cow. The accident happened one mile west of Mansfield on Highway 60. The man was taken to Cox Medical Center.
