The NFL draft got underway last night in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The First overall pick was quarterback Cam Ward, who went to Tennessee. Heisman Trophy Winner CB Travis Hunter went second to Jacksonville. Abdul Carter, an Edge rusher, went third to the New York Giants. One big surprise was that Colorado quarterback Shadeur Sanders was not picked in the first round. Missouri’s Armond Membou went #7 to the New York Jets. The Kansas City Chiefs picked 32nd and took Ohio State Offensive Tackle Josh Simmons.
