A man from Caulfield was injured in an accident west of Caulfield on Monday. The Highway Patrol reports that a 62-year-old man suffered serious injuries when he drove off the roadway and struck a culvert. The man was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on U.S. 160, one mile west of Caulfield.
A Pineville, Arkansas, man was injured in an accident south of Viola. 49-year-old Grover Smithson was injured when he lost control of the pickup he was driving, ran off the road, and struck a tree. The accident happened on Highway 223 south of Viola. Smithson was taken to Baxter Health in Mountain Home.
A Mansfield man was injured in an accident north of Mansfield on Monday. The Highway Patrol says the 49-year-old man suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and hit a culvert, then went airborne and came to rest in a ditch. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Missouri 5, three miles north of Mansfield.
