A man from Lakeview has been sentenced to 33 years in prison for allegedly binding a woman with duct tape, then beating and raping her. 56 year old David Gengler entered a no contest plea. He was initially charged with kidnapping and five counts of first degree battery, then alter charged with rape and aggravated robbery. The incident occurred in May of 2016. Gengler underwent a psychological examination and was found fit to go to trial.
