The Howell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the West Plains area for a domestic situation. David Berge allegedly was drinking with two other people when he became angry with a victim and started choking her while she was holding a child. Berge allegedly threatened to throw her into the fire the previous Friday. Berge denied any physical altercation. Berge is being charged with Assault 3rd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
