Hardy Mayor Ethan Barnes announced yesterday that the City has terminated Police Chief Scott Rose after his recent arrest for alleged sexual assault. The mayor said that to ensure a smooth transition, the City has appointed Patrolman Michael Himshoot as Police Chief. Rose was arrested on Monday and charged with sexual indecency with a minor, sexual assault, knowingly furnishing alcohol to a minor, and endangering the welfare of a minor.
