Two people were arrested for stealing a vehicle in West Plains

Two West Plains residents have been arrested for allegedly stealing a vehicle. On Wednesday afternoon, around 2:30,  West Plains Police responded to the 500 block of Humphries Drive for a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim stated their vehicle had been stolen earlier that morning.  The victim’s wallet was also reportedly in the vehicle, and someone had attempted to use their debit and credit cards. Around 4 pm, officers responded to the lobby of the West Plains Police Department to speak with individuals who had information about the location of the stolen vehicle and who stole the vehicle. The witnesses said the vehicle had been stolen last night and was driven to the Holiday Inn. The witnesses identified the suspects as a male with the last name Elmore and a female named Angel Huddleston. Officers responded to both the Holiday Inn and the West Plains Motel and found the vehicle at the West Plains Motel, where suspects Nathan Elmore and Angel Huddleston were taken into custody.  Elmore and Huddleston were charged with stealing a motor vehicle, three counts of theft of property, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit/debit device, and theft.
