The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department reports charges have been filed against a man from Jacksonville Arkansas after a lengthy investigation. Curtis Barton is charged with 2 counts of second degree burglary, felony stealing, stealing firearm/explosives and felony property damage. Several more charges are pending in Howell and Taney Counties. Barton allegedly committed burglaries at the Gainesville, Lutie, Bakersfield and Dora Schools and at MFA Propane in Ozark County and at Mark Twain school in Taney County and at the Seymour school. Barton was arrested by Jacksonville police on the Ozark County Warrant.
