On July 4th, Fulton County Deputies arrested 43-year-old Phillip Hollis after falsely reporting that someone had stabbed him, and he fired shots at a house in return. Upon arrival, law enforcement stated that Hollis had bloodshot eyes and smelled of intoxicants. The man that Hollis had said cut him was never found after a two-hour search, and then Hollis began calling 911 again and was now stating that a female at the house had gotten into a conflict with him, and she was the one who cut his hand. The deputies then arrested Hollis and later interviewed the woman, and she stated that he had cut his own hand and that there was a young child inside the house he had fired at. Hollis was charged with Felony Aggravated Assault and Felony Filing A False Report To A Law Enforcement Agency. He was taken to the Fulton County Jail and released on $5000 bond.
