Firefighters from Pontiac-Price Place, Gainesville, Theodosia, Timber-Knob, Oakland Promise Land, and Midway all responded to the fire around 12:30 Saturday morning just off County Road 609 in Pontiac. A female was reportedly taken from the scene to Baxter Health in Mountain Home for smoke inhalation. The State Fire Marshal was called to investigate the fire. A house was destroyed, and another structure and several vehicles were damaged. The house belonged to Brandon Corey Mills, who has a history of arrests over the past year and was out on bond when the fire occurred.
